The View Master, “pictures in stereo” as it were promoted, was a cool 3D experience. I’m sure many of you owned one of these gadgets with reels of Disney or some of your favorite movies or cartoons. I have the 70’s King Kong movie reels “autographed” by King Kong himself (purchased in Barkers Department Sotres, remember them?).
Saw this one too, a science fiction movie by Disney in the wake of the Star Wars success. I think it was their first PG rated movie, maybe because in a scene Maxmilian, the red droid, carved a hole in someone’s chest.
The original crew, watched them a long time ago in a movie theater far away (well, not so far).
