Memories from a time when christian rock was beginning to catch peoples attention. It was a good time, when the message was most important than image. I remember my first CCM cassettes arriving in the mail and my brother and I running to the mailbox full of emotion and expectation, ready to listen to that gems that talk about Jesus but with a modern beat. Petra, White Heart, Amy Grant, Kathy Troccoli, Daniel Band, Russ Taff, David Meece, The Imperials, Leslie Philips, Messiah Prophet, Mylon LeFevre, Degarmo and Key, just to name a few. Today I still listen to them and still feel the same emotion and expectation that I felt when running to the mailbox.
